Over the summer, BADD Racing proudly introduced our pro XL race frame. We were able to increase strength stiffness and durability by using Hydroformed 7005 aluminum. The design of the frame is simple and efficient enough to push riders across the finish line faster.
Using an optimized seat tube angle and shorter chainstay lengths, we were able to position riders pedal strokes directly-over the center of the bike. Modifying the seat tube angle helps riders pedal in more of a sprint position.
A shorter rear chainstay helps riders manual and jump easier. The overall weight of the frame is 3 lbs. 4 oz. This frame is definitely a main-event-making, sprinting machine.
NEXT-UP!
This fall, we will be adding to the BADD Racing family of products with the introduction of our Expert XL race frame.
The same concepts and geometry that are used on the Pro XL were incorporated into the Expert XL frame.
The BADD Racing Expert XL frame has a 20 inch top tube length, plus an integrated headset and slimmer Hydroformed aluminum downtube.
Using a thinner walled downtube for the Expert XL shaves valuable weight off the frame—offering you a lighter frame without sacrificing strength.
That was super-important to us, when developing the soon-to-be-revealed prototype.
Keep an eye out for it!
